Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using InvestTracker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Description of service

InvestTracker is a portfolio analytics platform. It provides real-time asset price tracking, portfolio performance metrics, risk analysis, correlation data, and tax reporting utilities. The application is designed for personal, non-commercial use.

Account responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use InvestTracker.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide a valid email address when registering. This email is used for authentication and optional alert notifications.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use InvestTracker for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or any part of the platform not intended for your use.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of proprietary components, where applicable.
• Use the platform to conduct automated trading, market manipulation, or any form of financial fraud.

Financial disclaimer

InvestTracker is an information tool, not a financial advisor. All data — including prices, analytics, risk metrics, and tax calculations — is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial, investment, or tax advice.

Market data is sourced from third-party APIs and may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. Always verify critical financial information with authoritative sources before making investment decisions.

Tax reports generated by InvestTracker are estimates based on the cost-basis method you select (FIFO, LIFO, or HIFO). Consult a qualified tax professional for your specific tax situation. For official IRS guidance, see: IRS Form 8949 — Sales and Other Dispositions of Capital Assets.

Limitation of liability

InvestTracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or service interruptions.

Subscription plans and billing

InvestTracker offers the following subscription plans:

• Lite — $5 per month ($48 per year billed annually).
• Pro — $12 per month ($115 per year billed annually).

All plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial without being charged.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. There are no prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Annual plan guarantee: If you are unsatisfied with an annual subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial annual purchase by contacting support@investtracker.app. This 30-day satisfaction guarantee applies only to the first annual billing cycle and does not apply to renewals.

Downgrades: If you downgrade from Pro to Lite, or from an annual to a monthly plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to your current plan's features until that date.

Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Any price changes will apply to billing periods starting after the notice period.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or third-party API outages.

Termination

You may stop using InvestTracker at any time by deleting your account via the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal information is anonymized and your authentication credentials are invalidated. Anonymized financial records may be retained for audit compliance as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request complete data removal by contacting support.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

Intellectual property

The InvestTracker name, logo, and branding are the property of InvestTracker. Your portfolio data, transaction history, and any reports you generate remain your property at all times. We claim no ownership over your data.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InvestTracker, its developers, and contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on data provided by the application for financial decisions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of InvestTracker will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the jurisdiction where the developer resides.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. The "last updated" date will reflect changes. Your continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account.
