Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using InvestTracker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Description of service

InvestTracker is a portfolio analytics platform. It provides real-time asset price tracking, portfolio performance metrics, risk analysis, correlation data, and tax reporting utilities. The application is designed for personal, non-commercial use.

Subscriptions and billing

InvestTracker offers the following subscription plans:

• Free — Basic portfolio tracking with limited features, at no cost.
• Lite — $5 per month or $48 per year, with expanded features.
• Pro — $12 per month or $96 per year, with full access to all features.

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being billed.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the current period ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until that date. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

All payments are processed by Stripe. InvestTracker does not store, process, or have access to your payment card information. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's privacy policy.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice sent via email to the address associated with your account. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.

Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide a valid email address when registering. This email is used for authentication and optional alert notifications.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use InvestTracker for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or any part of the platform not intended for your use.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of proprietary components, where applicable.
• Use the platform to conduct automated trading, market manipulation, or any form of financial fraud.

Financial disclaimer

InvestTracker is an information tool, not a financial advisor. All data — including prices, analytics, risk metrics, and tax calculations — is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial, investment, or tax advice.

Market data is sourced from third-party APIs and may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. Always verify critical financial information with authoritative sources before making investment decisions.

Tax reports generated by InvestTracker are estimates based on the cost-basis method you select (FIFO, LIFO, or HIFO). Consult a qualified tax professional for your specific tax situation.

Limitation of liability

InvestTracker is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or service interruptions.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or third-party API outages.

Termination

You may stop using InvestTracker at any time by deleting your account via the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual property

The InvestTracker name, logo, and branding are the property of InvestTracker. Your portfolio data, transaction history, and any reports you generate remain your property at all times. We claim no ownership over your data.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InvestTracker, its developers, and contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on data provided by the application for financial decisions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of InvestTracker will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent, or if that is not possible, it will be severed from these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. The “last updated” date will reflect changes. Your continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account.
